I had a majuscula that was eggbound and was starting to drag her abdomen and show decline in health so I thought it would make a good snack for my chameleon. He really liked it. It's a shame she never laid an ooth. It would have been HUGE. Look at all the eggs that popped out. Needless to say, I don't use the freezer method. :devil2:

Are the eggs black? They should be yellow. Black eggs in an eggbound female. Interesting. I'd love to know why it happens.

This is what i do, but with my bearded dragon. I had a multispina male get his head and raptorials eaten during mating so after, i gave him to my lizard.

Also thats an extremely nutritious meal!

I have also wondered the same thing. When does their (the eggs) "clock" start ticking? When fertilized, or once they are laid? I know she was bred.
