crossbreeding something like s.viridis withs.leonola or h.venosa with h.patellifera, but in general has anyone ever done it before?

I wouldn't say it obviously happens in nature, as far as I know it may happen in certain areas and offspring aren't fertile? I've seen photos and documentation of Tenodera sinensis or other Tenodera sp. males on the backs of other species but never connected. I believe on other occasions the sexual organs can't even connect unless it's a very closely related species of subspecies.Search the threads, cross breeding has been mentioned several times.
Most frown upon it.. I myself am curious about it, since it obviously happens in nature...
