Mantis drinking from spoon

Here is a video of how I give my H. Majuscula water from a spoon. I notice even though I mist them and the enclosure they seem to still be very thirsty and drink a lot when given water this way.

Nice video, I've never tried with Aluine but sometimes she drinks droplets on my skin, it's quite a weird sensation ^^

my griffins have done it to. except when the water gets shallow they bite me lol

I do this with my adults...especially the lobata girls....they drink like sponges lol

Before 6pm its general seating. After 6pm they need a reservation or they can sit at the bar. :clown:

Nikki never sits at the bar. Says ladies of her upbringing still don't do such things. She wants to know if you have Noilly Prat vermouth for her moderately dry martinis? And can she poop on the floor. Freedom to poop as she pleases, where she pleases is very important to her.

Sometimes I feed the mantids water or sweet water from pretty little demitasse spoons. I am glad that I am not the only one who spoils the mantids.

That is so sweet! What other pet would you do that with? There is nothing like a pet mantis.
