I feel like I'm asking a dumb question, but are mantis capable of seeing in the dark? I could not find it anywhere mentioning them not being or able to. ;)

Cool, they can actually see in the dark. I thought they were used to detect night from day. But, I haven't come across anything that mentioned them being able to see in the dark and that would mean they are nocturnal hunters.
