mantis has shed, few questions

my mantis shed at some point today (WOOP) unfortunately i missed it

just wondered how long till you can handle them?

i got him out before i realised he had shed and althought there seems to be no problems,

its my first shed and im being paranoid lol

he is now eating does this mean he is ok?

also the old skin is missing half a leg,

what are the dangers if it was still attached to the mantis as it was? cos i cant tell if it is or not

ok 1st: relax

if your mantis is eating already is that real fast for a just shed, if theres a part of the kin missing it lays probaly on the ground.

if its still attached to you mantis it will be gone at the second shed.

start handling it a ssoon as it is strong again..

handle in 20- 24 hours after the shed.

i very much doubt its attached to the leg..its probably on the floor of the tank.dont want to handle them untill 24-48hours after sheding.if u do just be careful..there skin is very soft when its just shed.
