Mantis on Black Glass

I must admit that I mainly photograph reptiles (pythons) on black glass but I have captured one mantis before. I'm looking for adult mantids near the end of their life spans to photograph with this technique. Feel free to ask questions. I use a Canon 5d MK 4 +90 mm macro lens + Einstein strobes and a large sheet of custom made black glass.
