I'm not certain as to where I read this, but I read that the Orchid mantis can change it's color based on humidity (like most mantises)/ how much "rainfall" is in its environment. When I was reading, it didn't specify if it was freshly after a molt or in between molts.
It led me wondering A) if that fact was indeed true, but more importantly B) Is there a mantis species out there that can change color ever so slightly or obviously in between molts. Thoughts?
