Here's my favorite Praying Mantis in his enclosure.

I can't tell, really, but I think it is a Religiosa.Any of you guys know?

Haha no.They didn't tell me what species they were shipping.From now on, I think I'll order from Mantisplace.com. ^_^

Haha no.I'll NEVER order from the site I got these from (livemantis.com).Besides shipping the Mantids out A MONTH after I ordered them, never responding to my e-mails, and giving really bad service, they didn't tell me what species they were shipping.

P.S.From now on, I'm ordering from Mantis Place! :)
Mantisplace is great! I hear mantispets is good... just less items in stock (good price though!!!). Depends on what species you want.

 
Looks like it to me... Mantis religiosa. The thorax isn't like Tenodera.

i'm thinking it is a stagmomantis species

i remember once that site selling stagmomantis californica

here is a pic of an L4 stagmomantis californica

That nymph is 100% Tenodera. (chinese mantis) .
Come to find the site sells T. sinensis mainly so ya. Probably so. I have some and after comparing them I can see that their thorax proportions are much different than they are as adults. Weird, huh? It's not like that with Religiosa.

You went on Livemantis.com?How did you find out what species they have?
