Here's a real mantis this time. Found him in North Carolina and he was quite large. There's a lot of mantids in this area, I always run into at least a couple. In the first picture he's sitting at the top of the wall. I thought I'd get to see a mantis feeding in the wild since the grasshopper walked up the wall and stood next to the mantis but the grasshopper jumped away.

Can anyone ID the species?

She's a nice chinese.
It is a male actually. It could also be Tenodera angustipennis if it has orange between the front legs in the "armpits." But it is most likely T. sinensis.
