Mantis turning brown?

Is it normal for an adult mantis to turn brown after last molt?

Some species can change color based on environmental conditions or genetics. My Stagmomantis sp. molt into a brown morph when the background is brown and the humidity is low.

Ok. Not too worried about it but i jus love the green color and don't care as much for this brownish color but oh well.

The brown Chinese can be really pretty! Sometimes it looks like their eyes are a beautiful shade of purple!

Somedays he's greener and some days he's a yellow brown green mixture....oops
