Well, I'm going on a camping trip soon and I decided to sell all of my excess mantids except for what I have set aside for breeding purposes. :)

Tropidomantis, tenera

An absolutely lovely and beautiful species from Singapore (partially transparent and polkadotted!) I'm selling ones that are L5-L6 It only takes them about 8 weeks to become adults!

Here are some pics (not mine), just scroll all the way down, they are on the bottom. ;)

Didymocorypha, lanceolata

Talk about a weird species! In my oppinion, they have the weirdest looking heads! Native to Africa. It only takes them about 8 weeks to become adults!

The ones I'm selling are L4ish and can eat fruitflies.

Bolbena, hottentotta

This is the smallest species in the hobby! (native to Africa) They are communal and up to 10 adults can be kept in a 32oz container) and are VERY aggressive towards food. They adults will eat bluebottle flies even though they are only 15mm long! They are the FASTEST grwoing speceis I've ever had, I've had adults in 6 1/2 weeks!

Here is a thread about them with pics:

They are currently sub-sub adults.

PM me if interested.

Thanks,

AB

oops! I meant Singapore!!! I'll fix that asap!
Not only Singapore, Malaysia too. I think most of SE Asia has them. I live in Malaysia and I can find about 4 ooths in 10 min. Thats how common they are in my house.

All Bolbena, hottentotta are gone. Thanks!

I still have a few Tropidomantis, tenera left for sale and I have about 10-15 Didymocorypha, lanceolata up for grabs. ;)

How much for the didymocoryphas? Are they good for beginners? And is there a common name for this species?

They have to be fed with springtails? I know they're tiny but from what I've been reading....springtails are minuscule. Fruit flies won't work?
