Marbled Mantis

I just had to share this with everyone. I bought some mantids from Deshawn and all of a sudden this morning I get up to find that my marbled mantis had all of a sudden shedded. It was odd since he was moving around perfectly fine before I went to bed and was going after food. In a matter of 7 hours he just decided it was a good time to shed.

cool, did it get much bigger? i like looking out for the subtle changes they have about them after a new shed. not had a marbled mantis yet

He is a bit bigger than his sibling. They are still both only about the size of a red ant but the bigger one now has claws that can grasp an adult fruit fly. He is mostly still cleaning off his fresh shell.
