Mating after ooth laying

How long should I wait after laying an ooth before I mate my H. Majusculas again? It has been almost a week and my male snapped at my female twice and my female wanted to eat him. Finally my male mounted her and tried to connect but he could not. It looked like she just pushed him out. Now he is just sitting on top of her. Should I try to separate them?

I offered her a crick earlier and she just looked at it then looked away. She has been acting weird with her abdomen lately. It's too soon for her to lay again, right? I'll try the food and blow on them in the mean time.
