Hi everyone, I've been having a hard time finding a female for my Rhombodera extensicollis, is it possible to mate him with a similar species like Rhombodera basalis?

Thank you in advance.

Possibly but don't try to sell them, especially if they're not labeled as hybrids. It's hard enough telling some species apart as it is, and creating hybrids would add a whole new dimension of confusion. In the tarantula community for example hybridizing is greatly frowned upon.

Please do a search on that topic. It has been discussed many many times already.

extensicollis is not very similar to basilis although in the same genus so i doubt it would work. maybe only ones like basalis and stalli, but i still dont think so. They will mate but it will most likely not be a fertile ooth.
