Hi, everyone! I'm doing a final project for my Web Coding class on North American mantids. I have to use pictures in my project, but they have to be either my own photos or ones that I have permission to use. That would be fine, except that I don't have pictures of all the mantids that live in North America. I only have photos photos of Chinese mantids. So I was wondering if any of you would mind giving me permission to use your photos (ones you specify, of course)? They'll only be used on my final project webpage, and I will give you credit in the code and on the webpages. Thank you so much if any of you could help!

These are the species I need photos of:

Chinese (Tenodera sinesis)

European (Mantis religiosa)

Carolina (Stagmomantis carolina)

Texas/Mexican Unicorn (Phyllovates chlorophaena)

Arizona Unicorn (Pseudovates arizonae)

Grizzled Bark (Gonatista grisea)

Brunner's (Brunneria borealis)

Litaneutria minor

Litaneutria obscura

California (Stagmomantis californica)

Larger Florida (Stagmomantis floridensis)

Stagmomantis limbata

Yersiniops solitarium

Yersin's Ground (Yersiniops sophronicum)

Iris oratoria

If there are any I'm missing, please let me know! I got this list from Bugguide.net

Good luck on your final. I can't help you with any, unfortunately. Maybe I already have. Will any of my babies be made famous? Got chinese?

You can use any of the ones on my website (you'll know they're mine because they will either have nothing on them or have "Mantis Pets" on them.) You could probably use the ones by Leeann, Kiet or Yen, but you'll need to clear it with them first! (Even though they are on my website...best to be nice & ask!) ;)

Yes, you're missing a few. One in particular is Iris oratoria. You can use my photos, let me dig for the links I have of L. minor and I. oratoria.

I could have sworn I had a thread open last summer about L. minor, now it's gone. Let me dig some more. In the mean time. M. religiosa and I. oratoria

Thanks so much, everyone! Yes, Scott, your babies will be in my project. ;)

I'll show you all my project when it's done, if you'd like.

Thank you everyone for all your help! I finished my project, although I removed most of the North American species from my page because it was so long and I didn't have enough time to finish, or enough pictures for all the species.

If any of you are curious to see, here's my project.

Thank again for all your help!!

P.S. Please keep in mind I'm only in Web Coding I, so my web pages are pretty basic.
