Are mayflies good food for mantids?

Yes, they are. Just use them as soon as possible. They live for 1-2 days only.

I used to feed them to my Chinese, I had to catch them wild. But they definitely loved them, and agreed.. You gotta use them quickly.

Here where I am the season is usually 6 weeks max.. They are still here today... that is all summer.. Maybe the cooler weather this year..

And I don't think the june beetles have come yet.. oops... I guess this is the wrong board, for bug conversation... LOL
