Chris, I believe we are two of the few on this forum that are obsessed with jumping spiders!

This is Paraphidippus aurantius.

I'm so jealous that the mid-united states has so many different species, we're stuck with only a few (described and common) species here. Oh well.... :(

Thanks. Just googled the name and that's exactly what it is. Cool spider! :tt1:

I think I found two of them here at Mexico (inside my home). One is in my freezer cause I want to take it some pics :(

I´ll upload some photos in a few days.

I didn´t want to keep it, and giving it flies, but prefer to keep it for a future pics :p

Gorgeous little metallic green jumper! They are my favorite spider group too, though the more I learn about spiders the more difficult it is for them to retain this title. If they were the size of tarantulas, few would keep tarantulas, I think. And MANY more bites would occur ;)

Here is a pic of my little guy munching on a house fly.

I pretty much hate spiders  But I love jumping spiders. LOVE them. They are way cuter than all the other spiders. :D I love them.
I know. I love them because of those BIG eyes, their intelligence, agility, speed, hunting skills...

I could go on forever! :p
