Metallyticus sp

Hello all,

This question is for Christian, I recently purchased 2 pairs of Metallyticus sp from Borneo, they are fairly fresh specimens, I also have a third pair that I got a few months back.

Now my Question to you is how can I tell which Metallyticus sp are they?

Is there any ID keys that I could use to tell between M fallax and M splendidus?

Hi.

There is a key in Giglio-Tos (1927) "Das Tierreich - Mantidae", comprising all 5 species. It is not exactly known if all are valid, but the key should work for the moment. A revision of the genus is in preparation.

The key is in French.
