I love doing this. There was a fly loose in my washroom, so I decided to release the hounds! It took a couple of strikes before she got it as the fly was in midflight right off of my finger. Sweet!

Cute. I haven't tried that method. I sometimes let mantids hang out on the window screen, but I think they catch bb flies most of the time. I have nets around my house to catch all the loose houseflies.
