So, I am sad to say, my Creo. pictipennis nymph passed away recently..I am thinking it was due to a mismolt but I am not sure, so hopefully y'all can provide some insight.

He was eating great, but I think probably too much, because at a certain point he looked very full and was vomiting every 8-12 hours or so if I remember correctly..shortly thereafter he went into molt and everything seemed fine, except that when I saw that he had finished molting, he was hanging from a leaf nearby but only holding on with his midlegs/forelegs (pic attached)...I was concerned that this was an indication that something was wrong with his hindlegs but had to head to class, so I left him and when I returned he was a little ways away from wear I left him, but on the moss in the bottom of the cage..dead =(

All that being said, I assume that his overeating led to a mismolt, resulting in his hindlegs not being functional, and when he finally got off the leaf he got stuck in the moss and suffocated or something of that nature? Otherwise, I can only guess that the BB flies or crickets he had been eating were making him sick...(I wil note, however, that my chinese(?) nymph which has been eating the same food, molted shortly before the creo, and still appears/acts normal to this day). If nothing else, I am definitely being much more careful not to overfeed from here on out =/

Any thoughts/suggestions?
