A long time ago, one of my crippled chinese was missing bits and pieces of her legs or they were very malformed to the point where she couldn't hang very well to molt. When she started showing signs of molting, I LOOSELY taped the tips of her legs to the top of a kritter keeper lid. Then I stacked a bunch of books to a good height in two piles, and balanced the KK's edges on the very edge of the stack of books. So basically, the KK was being held up by that stack and she had a freefall to the carpet when she molted. If I didn't explain it too well I can take a picture for you.

The other alternative is to watch your mantis for signs of molting, and try to be present at the time of the molting so you can help it.

If you decide to go with the tape thing, don't push the tape down a lot. Barely apply any pressure, otherwise the mantis won't be able to slip out of the exoskeleton.

That's all I can really think of.

Good luck.

that sounds ok bud she has signs of moulting for a week.( *goes watch again*) she fall off her stick again...i,ll try the tape thing

let me see a picture please :)
