mite spray for phasmid eggs?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use mite spray made for reptiles on phasmid eggs? I noticed some tiny

white mites in some new eggs I ordered online, and they spread to a few of my other incubating eggs in

other containers. I don't want to harm the phasmid eggs but those mites are so gross...
