Molting or Not Hungry?

My very first mantis. So I attempt to feed him but he wasn't interested. He would strike the food Half-heartedly without grabbing it, and then turn around and walk away. His abdomen does look pale to me, but he does move around quite a bit along the top of his enclosure. I'm just wondering, is he preparing to molt, or was just not hungry?

He might be getting ready to molt, and looking for a place to do it. Some pics might help.

Sounds like preparing to molt to me.  Has he molted yet?
