How many times do mantids shed? is there a set number or do they just keep doing it? and how long in between do u have to wait untill they shed?

How many times do mantids shed? is there a set number or do they just keep doing it? and how long in between do u have to wait untill they shed?

My female stamomantis californica shed 7 times and male shed 6 times. After that, they became adults and will no longer shed. I think how many times does depend on the species. I have experienced 1 to 3.5 weeks between sheds.
