More Mantid Illustrations

Some of you know that I'm an amateur artist. I've been working on a personal project for the last month or so that's mantis related, so I thought I'd share the fruits of my labor here. My apologies for the somewhat low-quality; I have lousy cameras.

The goal was to depict one image in three different styles. Here is the finished product:

The mounted project (shown here on my couch amongst several books and comics. ) is now hanging handsomely on my wall and is the envy of all I see.

Yeah. Very nice indeed, but this is what I call cheating. First, it's pretty clear that you've been Practicing and also that you have Talent. Doesn't seem fair to the rest of us (except Katt, whom I suspect also cheats), somehow.

BTW, can you beg, borrow, steal a better camera for crisper images,or even use a scanner?

Phil: I might be able to get ahold of a better camera to take some better photos. The only scanner I have available is not up to the task of doing the line pieces justice, let alone the watercolor (watercolor scans terribly anyway).

Also: Of course I'm cheating. :lol:
