Nice pics. I like the pale green color of the sub-adult H. majuscula. On another topic: I am concerned about all you mantids hobbyists that live in the path of the current "perfect storm" that is presently raising havoc with flight into and I am sure out of the NY, NJ and nearby areas. Please be careful and if there is something we can do to help, please gives us a notice.

i already made a topic abt that

too late to send the babies to someone because the USPS is closed :(

Both Ephestiatula look female to me. 6 segments.
u may be right, i dont count segments, i go by the genital ends of the abdomen, and the second one is a little blury

still a fine, fine mantis B)

hope they r ok with the hurricane, i'm contemplating turning my heat up to 75 so if the power goes out later the house gets cooler slower

Love the pics! Especially the boxers!

I would say maybe add some twigs for the eggbound tenodera? Might help.

gripen, i dont think thats gonna help

i think it's the female, i've had many eggbound females before of this species who i gave plenty of sticks plants and fake vines and never laid a thing

my current female laid 1 ooth on a willow tree and 2 in the corner of a bare bones setup net cage

sadly only the first ooth she laid, which was huge, was fertile but i gave it back to the place i caught her...
