At first I thought this was a mutant Yellow Jacket so I caught it. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a moth with some striking mimic color patterns. Took some footage then set it free.

 
That's actually very cool to me! You set it free? Go put it back into a container and ship it over here to me! Haha.. jk man.. =P

I'd never seen one before so I know they aren't common. I wouldn't want to contribute to them becoming even more rare.

If it was a common moth it would have ended up in a mantis belly for sure. :p

I took some footage of another strange looking moth. Someday I'll edit and post that too.

 
I have some around here that look like wasps, but they aren't as convincing as that one. Also a fly that looks and buzzes around like a bee, its striped eyes give it away. Still not as convincing as that yellow jacket moth. :D That is a good one!
