Do we need to mate a mantid again after laying an egg case to ensure a subsequent egg case is fertile?

We have 2 female Chinese mantids, and were able to breed both of them. The first layed an egg case a few days afterward, and the other about a week later. Do we need to mate them again if we hope to get more egg cases that are "good"?

The use of various males is also preferable. And if they are not closely related, all the better.

I have mated my popa female six times in the past week...I could've left her alone after the first time but I figured I'd get a little more genetic diversity if I mated with the first male's brother, now they all live together and I see her connected like every day...cept one day before and the day of she was laying an ooth...so you only need one mating but more matings just to make sure and it wouldn't hurt...unless u lose a male ;)

All the best,

Andrew
