Avid herp keeper but new to Mantids. Ordered a oothecae of Chinese Mantids on eBay from the US to Canada for great price, so figured what the heck…..
thought the cross boarder might be an issue but arrived today, safe and sound. Only took 10 days even!
Hopefully they hatch before/after I return from my 1 week trip leaving this coming weekend so I can experience it myself….
Ooth arrive on twig sheltered with foam on top. I put twig in vented deli cup (I use to breed fruit flies for my frogs) and put damp paper towel on bottom. Should this be OK set up for them to hatch out?
