And i found this great new home for my mantids, it will be big enough for them when they are adults too, i will have a sexed pair of them in each one.

I am keeping it nice and simple. Paper towel on the divider and on the floor, a climbing stick, and at the top are sticks and branches for molting.

I may or may not make them fancier.

Pics are great, I should have my Blephs tomorrow, i cant wait.

Thanks

They are one of those species that are fun to watch, they were smaller than i would have expected at low instar, my L5/6 female is about 5 times the size of my L3 male

I'm going to break into your house and steal that giant ruby for my turban! :fortuneteller:

That's it! I'm putting on my curly shoes and getting on my flying carpet right now!
>.<

Oh and the second head on pic of the female is composed of two pics, one had the head and one had the thorax in focus. One also had the raptors in focus but auto align and auto blend messed it up!

How do i do manual?

That's a complicated question.

To put it as simply as possible;

1) Copy and paste all images into the layers of a single file.

2) Select all layers and auto-align.

3) Decide the best order of layers then apply a layer mask to top layer and either draw in black where you want it to become transparent (so the layer below shows), or select all, fill with black, and paint in white (where you want the top layer to show).

4) Do the same to the layer below if there is another layer you want to use.

I would suggest getting a good manual for your version of Photoshop and following tutorials on YouTube. Photoshop is a very complex app. I've been using it for 14 years and still don't know everything it's capable of. But you've gotta start somewhere and there really are some great tutorials available online.

Best of luck!
