So I went to the expo where they sell lizards and snakes and insect today (well yesterday but I didnt go to sleep yet) and I got myself two baby mantis. The are so freaking tiny. I moved them into a slightly bigger cups which I DIY'ed (uhh you know what I mean). I used a hot glue and fine mesh, will go for bigger mesh when I finally find some hopefully, but they are still very small. I gave each a fruitfly and they just jumped at it and gobbled it up. They're so freaking cute. I hope they don't die on me. I didn't name them yet I don't even know if they are girls or boys. Wish me luck!

Put three or four fruit flies in thier cups. Dont forget to mist thier cups with water.

And good luck!

They seem to be going well so far :) i feed them irregularly. Is it possible that they are getting bigger even though they didnt molt?

So one of my mantis molted yesterday night ( i slept so I dunno when). She/he is already moving. Should I feed her ot wait till tomorrow? I only have baby crickets my fruit flies died gotta get new ones somewhere.

So they molted again last week, they are doing fine so far. They are super cute. I think they remember that I am the one who gives them food cause they sonetimes get excited when they see me. Wonder if they are girls or boys.

So both of them are guys. They are pretty big now the molted 4 times since I got them. I named them Ziggy and Snape. They are always hungry and a lot of fun.

Also I got a pair of P. Laticollis, they are so cute and they like to jump on my face. And 5 Paradoxas, 2 girls and 3 boys, they are super tiny.
