Im planning on buying one next week but I have no idea what species to get!

Id like one that doesn't hatch too many nymphs out (below 60) as im not expierenced with looking after a large number of nymphs. Id also like a species were less cannibalism is involved. Any suggestions? :)

(Im not interested in a ghost mantid ooth as I wanna try a new species)

whats the common name for it? i tryed googling it to find out what species it was but i couldnt find anything x)
Yes, what does the "D" stand for, Rebecca? I know that Statilia M stands for Messalina, Nero's third wife, who liked to fool around a lot! There was a brief article on her, "Messalina, Illustrious Harlot" in an encyclopedia in my school library when I was 12. It was read by more kids than the rest of the books in the library put together! :D

no one will say this, but if you have a 3-6 gallon tank and plenty of food, ive kept up to 20 limbatas in one tank, it started as 150 and canniballized to 20 and they all lived in harmony, and there pretty active when lots of heat and food are present. but note: they are highly cannibalistic! i still love them the best!!!!

go with the gambian spotted eye flower mantis or the nigerian flower mantis or a creobroter gemmatus mantis as i have a few gambian nymphs and a adult female and they seem easy to take care of and maintain and can live together as adults .The gemmatus i dont think would live together but i had them up to sub adult live together and they can tolerate each other if enough food is around

so my suggestion is one of the three or more then one

1.gambian

2.nigerian

3.gemmatus
