I got lucky with my male..He was a younger instar when I got them.. I fed the females more and they were warmer.. He molted a week before she did..

Hes the only male I have. All the rest are female. I had to put one down this morning, she was so sick but still have one more subadult female to go...If she molts soon I might be able to breed her also..

I have one subadult female left..She just molted about 2 days ago..They say it's not good to transport them at this stage..I had to put one of my females down this morning because not matter what I tried to do she just wouldn't eat or get better. It made me so sad..She was beautiful..

Thanks everone! I remember you CosbyArt...You have been so supportive. All of you have! It is much appreciated by the way! I am teaming with another breeder and we are both hoping to get a good supply of idolo nymphs here in the future. Once mine breed and with the new ones we've purchased we have a chance. I've learned so much from the first Idolos I raised so hopefully this next batch does great! Hi my name is Crystal and I'm addicted to Idolos. Its been 12 hours since my last purchase!

Thats great MantisMatt14. Two males for one female you have a great chance at some really fertile ooths! Cool your males off a little and slow their feeding. Feed your female like crazy! She should catch up...

I just read that thread you posted CosbyArt! Lol! So I'm not the only one who stressed major over these guys and it looks like it's not done yet! I am determined to mate these two. Mantis Viagra for him and mantis perfume for her if need be! Thanks for sharing that thread..It made my day!

Your welcome. Everyone stresses over their mantises, especially those with such a difficult bred to get them to adults - let alone worrying about mating. Glad to see if nothing else you got a good laugh, hopefully it had a few good tips too.
