It is a shakey start for them. The male is a little lethargic and the female decided to molt in shipping. I have had to suspend her from the mesh top in the hopes that she will pull thru.

I am providing a little more heat than the 70 I keep my house at for her via a lamp next to the enclosure she is hanging in and I actually bumped up the house heat to 74 to help the male get his land legs back.

Hopefully in the next couple days they will both be eating and enjoying their new home.

Well, the male is moving less and less and i had to put him on top of the cage as he just doesnt seem to have the strength to hold himself up. I tries a little water in a spoon under his mouth. I tried a little honey under his mouth. Not much else I can do except wait it out to see if he makes the turn.

They are so cute too.

I would not expect them to make it and come out fully healthy. Also keep in mind that a heat lamp will really dry out their enclosures.

Thanks for the tip on the heat lamp. I am just using a regular bulb .. actually it is one of those small bulbs for a microwave .. 25w and is about 8 inches away. I will check it often to see if it feels too warm near her.
