So I went to try and catch mantises a couple weeks ago and found a young one that was bright green (just like the bright young Europeans) with a couple small black dots in various places. I was quite surprised to see it once it shed. Its color was still bright but it had so many speckles! She has pretty long wings for being so small, so I must be wrong about what type she is. Can Carolina mantises be green as well? The area I was searching from had Chinese, Carolina, and European mantises. I live in the Midwestern region of the United States if that helps at all.

I thought mine was an odd carolina for being so tiny, but looks just like w.e Venom is,so should be Carolina as well,I think the outside heat this year has sped up their moults and made all of the wild mantids a bit smaller
