Found some millipedes. Are they narceus americanus or julida? Also, how do I find Narceus? I was looking in very rotten wood in the woods.

Probably a member of the order Julida but the telson spike is interesting. Narceus and other spirobolids have a groove down the front of the face but this doesn't appear to be from that order even without a way to check for that feature.

It's less than an inch. I'm still searching for Narceus because I want to get some millipedes. What do you think it is? Could it be a Narceus?

No it is certainly not Narceus. It is probably from a different order even (Julida vs. Spirobolida).
