So I was wondering where I could find some ooths of S. Carolina. I know for a fact that they are maticr to my state as i have caught many adult males on my porch but I have yet to see a frmale, nymph, or ooth. I’ve been trying my best but nothing, so where should I look? I’m looking at brick walls, thin tree branches, etc. Also, in regards to European mantids, does anybody know how to care for them and/or their ooths? I’ve tried raising some nyphs up but they were a really tough challenge and they mostly ended up dying.

Sounds like you're looking in the right places. Wait until leaves have fallen off the vegetation which will make it easier.
