ok..my mantids love to moult on the net cages..i put branches in there and they still choose the net cage..them ones from mantis place rock..my idols love them..i have ordered some more.. :)

 
I use anything that has crisscross, net-like tops. It works the best for almost all mantids. Anything woody would work as well.

What do you mean claws? The front claws or the tiny claws they have on each foot?
