Oh good! Wasnt sure ifit had to be in a hanging pot or not. Does it? I see some that do and others that dont. Depends on species i guess.

hanging pots are entirely optional. i dont have any, actually, and they do fine.

You don't need a hanging pot, just the space for the plant to grow. Some species are just like vines and can grow rather extensively. So, some growers decide to use hanging pots to make use of the space below the pot and for aesthetic value.

Sorry I can't help you. I don;t grow Neps; only temperate CPs.
