This is my first experience with breeding mantises and I need some advice from some more experienced breeders. my Miomantis paykullii just laid her second Ooth after successfully breeding with my male (whom she proceed to eat after a few hours) a couple weeks ago. My Rhombodera Sp. also just successfully breed this weekend, without casualties, and I plan on attempting another breeding with a second female this weekend. I've never had an ooth before and I can't find much information on the care of Rhombodera ooths. So if anyone has experience with those I would love to hear some advice.

Also I don't have the resources to keep this many nymphs so I was planning on selling some of the ooths but I don't know what sort of packaging would be good for shipping them. whats the best way to ship them?

Sounds like you have the mating part down. Rhombodera ooths are very easy. Just put it into an appropriate container and wait. Room temperature is fine. Mist the inside of the container lightly a few times a week. I keep them all together until I have about ten left and then seperate them into indvidual containers. This leaves me with a number I can easily manage. Shipping ooths is easy. I just wrap the ooth in paper towel and put that into a small plastic container with a lid. I ensure it can't roll around by using the paper towel. Put that into a box and cushion with newspaper, packing peanuts, etc and send it on its way.
