Hi everyone,
I’m pretty new to this whole mantid scene. I had one when I was a kid but I couldn’t even tell you what kind. Something from the pet store... But now, I am an adult, the internet is more of a thing, and resources are better. I’m from Wisconsin, I’m in my early 30’s, I work nights fixing machines in a hot foundry, and I spend my days being active and trying to stay moderately healthy. I had been meaning to get into a hobby that was a little more relaxing but still fulfilling. Maybe something I could do with my wife. Which is how this started. My wife has a small garden. This small garden has aphids. Someone suggested mantids to her. I remembered my cool childhood pet and my desire for a hobby. One thing lead to another. And now I’m trying to learn everything I can. I can’t wait to do some reading and asks some questions.
Anybody have any ‘the first thing you need to know’s, for a new guy?
