I went out to buy some carnivorous plants but they were all out, but had many of these!
I dont know the species nameVery pretty, what is the name of it?
You're not alone, Katt! Years ago I lived in a 3rd floor walk up in Chicago. The woman on the second floor kept a few pots with floweing plants in them. She watered them every day, but slowly each plant died, and as each one died, she'd empty the pot. The last one was the only one that had continued to bloom, and when I moved, she was still watering it fathfully, every day. I never had the heart to tell her that it was plastic! After about a month or 2, the branches started getting kind of ragged at the top because one of our cats (or I should say, at least one <_< ) likes to chew on them. She always knocks the vase over too and spill the rocks out. But those darn flowers kept looking so nice and pretty... I was amazed! They were perfect! I'm kind of embarrassed, but it's too funny not to tell.... I finally took a good, long, up-close look at it and realized the bamboo plant was alive, but the flowers were fake ones they'd put on there to spruce it up I guess. All that time I thought those flowers were real.... lol. Hey, and they still look as good as the day hubs bought it! Wish I could say the same for the bamboo.
Lol... thanks, Phil! Now I don't feel quite so bad. :lol:You're not alone, Katt! Years ago I lived in a 3rd floor walk up in Chicago.
