Ive always wanted to keep these amazing lil spiders but we dont have them readily aviavle over here and out natives arent that impressive :(

BUT, i found a gravid female mediterrianian (spelling?) jumping spider, Icius hamatus :D

Ive had her for a while now and she had her batch the other week.

Funnily enough after i found her someone recently imported a bunch of salticids finally and by tomorrow i should be the proud ownder of Phiddipus audax and platycryptus undatus, the first of which i never thought i would get :D

Anyway untill they come heres photo`s of my Icius hamatus :)

Very nice pics! Jumping spiders are one of my favorite species of spider. I have a huge female living in my fence post. Every few days i give her a fly. Enjoy your new pets! :)

Good find! I like it a lot! I'm not a huge fan of most spiders, but jumping spiders are the exception. They look like little fuzzy robots, to me. :p Nice pictures too, btw.

Thanks everyone :D

Didnt think she would have this much interest lol

Her chubby pics was before she had her babies, but i havent seen her eat any of the flies i give her since she emerged

I really cant wait for the audax though, they`ve been a dream spider of mine thats always been out of reach, but they still havent arrived yet :(

My new salticids arrived today

Sadly only 3 out of the 5 P.audax survived but the rest aswell as the female undatus are amazing

You bloody amaricans are lucky :D

I`ll try and get picks as soon as i can :)

Dont rub it in

I would pay a lot for these guys anyway, the P.audax im talking about, stunning looking spider :D

Ive had the worst luck with these so far, 2 died in the post, 1 sluggish one died a couple of hours later, and now one of them with a missing front limb isnt feeding

I just hope i can try and breed them :(

ON a lighter note i managed to get some photo`s of them yesterday :D
