Hello everyone! 

My name is Graeme and I am a new mantis owner in Scotland. I am expecting a   Hierodula membrenacea and a  Hierodula sp ...blue form nymph in the post on Friday and was wondering if anyone has some first timer advise ?

Hello Graeme and welcome to the forum

For first time keeper advice, it is the forum itself - there is much depending on what you do or do not know. I recommend you start with the caresheet of your mantid species, and search the forum for any questions.

Feel free to ask any questions as well, but for just random advice you are best picking up a book on keeping mantids. The most recommended books are the ones from Orin, such as Keeping Aliens, or the more detailed one Keeping the Praying Mantis.
