Hey all,

I have been going out and collecting these stone centipedes, Lithobiomorpha.

Really cute and bad little mo fo's lol. Any of you have advice on breeding them? I could easily take a large rotting piece of log that I normally find these things under and stick it in a large tank inside my house.

Here are 2 pix. Are these the same sp. ??? One walks like a regular centipede (the thicker and darker colored one) and the other (thinnger, lighter colored one) wiggles like an earth worm!

I keep lithobius sp. All you have to do is give them a good hiding place and feed them either sowbugs, pinhead crickets, or flightless houseflys. Definitely mist them to keep the moisture in. Oh, and the thinner, lighter one isn't lithobius. It's a whole other sp.

I understand the feeding, but what other requirements are there? I have the first centipede species, and now I am interested in another possible pet.
