Nymph feeding - how often?

I have a lot of T. sinensis L1s to feed. Most of my keepers have now been separated into individual condos. What is the consensus on feeding frequency for L1 ? Being very hard to measure/control, about 6 - 12 melanos are put into the individual L1 enclosure. Should I wait until until all the FFs are either eaten or dead before adding more?

I just shake a huge amount in every day....

I feed heavily every other day or every 2 days max on nymphs,but it does take a lot of flies,so I suggest many a culture to do this,i try to give each separate cup a good 5 or so flies at a time,and then for the ones left together there is no guess lol I just shake a ton in

I feed all my nymphs daily if I see there is no more flies in their containers. Don't really throw in too much at once, especially when I see that some have begun molting.

Yeah that's a good question. I feel like I try to walk a tight rope. I don't want to bug them with too many FF's. So I try to make sure there is always food for them but not crawling with food.

they should be eating hydei if they are chinese nymphs.

Thanks all. My question is focused on individual L1s that have been separated into their own condos. Too many stresses them out. OR - 5 or so seems about right, if that can be controlled.

you can feed the melanos but i reccommend hydei, you will have to feed less quantit. its upto you though what ever works.

Currently have oil tankers full of melanos. Could currently feed half of India. :tooth:

5-8 per day is about right, you don't want too many as you never know when they'll molt and being mobbed by ff's mid molt can be detrimental.
