My male sub adult whalbergii is showing signs of moulting real soon, though my female is not, and she doesnt show sign of her wing buds fattening, lets say if the moment your adult male flower mantis turns adult, but your female turns sub at the same time is there still a chance they can breed?

Well, you have a small window of opportunaty. Is it possible to lower the temp slightly for the male and raise it for the female? If possible, after the male molts, lower his temp by a few degrees. That should slow him down a bit and extend his life span some. Raise the temp of the female by a few degrees to speed her up some. With luck, you will be able to mate them before the male croaks!!
