I was wondering if its ok still to breed a mantis if its kind of old as I just got 2 parymenopus but my female I just got is not even a adult yet but my male has been a week or 2 and as long as I keep him alive hopefully and has anyone ever bred older males with younger females or vice versa just like if one sex is a couple stages ahead of the other!

Old or young, I think the biggest factor is that they are still alive. I know that males usually don't live as long as females, especially in smaller species. I'd say give it a go if they are capable and "of age".

well I am going to have to try to keep my male alive long enough as my female is not even sub adult yet I think

Keep the male(s) cooler than the female, and feed him a bit less, but let him drink as much as he wants.
