I think I have to take my Budwing to the eye doctor.

How big is she? :D She's so adorable!

 
They have already changed back to the same color. What the heck was that?

She is about 3.25 inches.
That's weird but I'm sure she's fine because I had chinese mantids change colors in the eyes when the light brighten or gets dark.

Not a bad size for an adult budwing!

 
Budwing eyes turn red in response to dim light. Her red eye side was facing away from the light, while the regular one was facing the light. Same thing happens in other species: Chinese to chocolate, Pseudocreobotra to magenta, etc.
