3 days ago, I found a single Carolina nymph hatching from one of my ootheca from a captive bred female. I never dia paused the ooth, and it's been about 3 months.

Is this staggered of a hatch normal for an ooth that hasn't been diapaused? Or is this ooth a dud?

The 1 nymph didn't survive.

No it can be normal....I had one nymph hatch and I was shocked as you, but then about 4 days later a couple more and then another 4 days the rest...it was like a warning nymph or something :) spray the enclosure and get some moisture in there raise temps a little bit ;)

All the best,

Andrew
